How we keep this true

Student guides die the same way. Someone writes a brilliant one, and two years later the office has moved, the fee has changed and the deadline has shifted, but the page still reads with total confidence. That is worse than no page at all.

So the machinery is public. Here is every source we rely on, everything we currently do not know, and which pages are overdue for a check. Every correction, with what it replaced, is on What changed.

Three kinds of claim, never mixed

Official

Stated by an official body. A university page, a ministry, the Comune. Must carry a source link. A human approves every one of these before it is published, and no automated process is allowed to change a fee, a deadline or a legal requirement on its own.

Student-reported

What students actually experience: how long the queue really is, which counter to avoid on a Monday, what the officer asked for that was not on the list. Needs several independent reports before it appears. It is not an official statement and we never dress it up as one.

Opinion

Which SIM is better, which neighbourhood is nicer, whether the canteen food is worth it. No verification claimed and none implied.

The source watcher

Every Monday morning an automated check re-reads every official source in the list below and compares it against the copy a person last reviewed. It cannot decide what is true. It decides what deserves a human’s attention, and opens a to-do for the editors when something moved.

    It re-fetches every source

    A page that has moved, 404ed or been rewritten is flagged immediately. This alone catches most real-world drift.

    It diffs what changed

    Only pages whose text actually changed go any further, with the exact sentence that moved, so a person reads one line instead of a whole page.

    Your reports go to the same place

    When you tell us something has changed, it lands in the editors' queue next to the watcher's findings, and a person checks it against the source.

    A person decides

    Nothing about a fee, deadline, legal requirement or address is ever published by the machine. It produces a shortlist; a human publishes.

Official pages only. Blogs, forums and agency sites are used to find out where to look. They never end up on this list, and nothing on this site rests on them.
